ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ´«Ã½ Press has published "The Akron Offering: A Ladies' Literary Magazine, 1849-1850." The book, the second volume in the "Critical Editions in Early American Literature" series published by the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ´«Ã½Press, is edited by Jon Miller, professor of English at UA. Composed of religious, romantic, political and sometimes comic pieces, the collection covers important questions of the day and provides a vivid picture of Akron's canal era.
