Biography
Dr. Hoo Fatt joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ´«Ã½ in 1995. She is an ASME Fellow, and serves on the Editorial Boards of the International Journal of Impact Engineering and Thin-Walled Structures. Dr. Hoo Fatt has published over 120 journal articles, book chapters and conference papers in the areas of impact, blast, composite structures, sandwich structures & materials, and rubber constitutive modeling and fracture mechanics. Her industrial contracts have allowed her to work with National Oilwell Varco, Bridgestone/Firestone, Johnsonite, and Materials Research & Design.
