Networking, interviews and opportunities: Co-op Career Fair connects engineering and computing students with top employers

The College of Engineering and Polymer Science hosted its biannual Career Fair for Engineering, Engineering Technology and Computing on Feb. 11, drawing hundreds of students and industry representatives eager to connect over co-op, internship and full-time opportunities. The event, organized by the College’s Co-op and Placement Office, once again proved to be a vital link between students and leading employers in the field.

Our historic co-op and placement program gets students hired by internationally known companies like J.M Smucker Company, Sherwin Williams, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

Design Teams

Our student teams are nationally recognized. The Akronauts received the top award for technical excellence at the Spaceport America Cup this year and became the first collegiate rocket team in Ohio to design, build, and fire a liquid engine. There is something for everyone here.
